Educational program

The mission of the Educational Program "Pharmacy" is to provide training of competitive specialists with a high level of professional and human competence, possessing sufficient knowledge, capable of assimilating new objects of knowledge, as well as generating new knowledge in the healthcare system in the field of pharmacy, formulating production tasks in a professional language and solving them with the help of modern technologies; competitive in the domestic and international labor market in accordance with their needs and prospects for the development of the country and the region with an active citizenship based on the ideas of peace, goodness and justice.

In accordance with the mission, the goal of the Educational Program (EP) "Pharmacy" is to provide training of highly qualified and competitive pharmacy specialists with sufficient knowledge and skills, able to assimilate and generate new knowledge in the field of circulation of medicines and medical devices for the provision of pharmaceutical care.

The EP was developed with the aim of preparing pharmacy specialists with modern knowledge and skills and able to provide pharmaceutical assistance in the healthcare and drug supply system. When developing the Educational Program, the programs of MPharm University of Manchester were analyzed and taken into account.

The educational program is based on a competency-based approach. The end results of the training are formulated in accordance with the WHO recommendations (competencies of medical workers) and the standards of the World Federation of Medical Education - WFME (World Federation of Medical Education) - Global Standards for Quality Improvement in Medical Education.

Refresher courses

Advanced training courses are conducted by the branch of the Department of Fundamental Medicine GxP Company LLP, which occupies a leading position in the pharmaceutical market of Kazakhstan and has established itself as a leading company in the field of implementing good pharmaceutical practices, conducting validation / qualification in accordance with the requirements of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as GxP Company LLP is a qualified consultant for the European Bank for Development and Reconstruction (EBRD).

Abdambaev Daniyar Abduvalievich, PhD, with more than 10 years of experience in leadership positions according to the GxP standard, which is the key to the safety, efficacy and quality of medicines, was appointed director of the branch of the Department of Fundamental Medicine. He is one of the founders of GxP Company LLP and the General Director from the day of foundation.
