Dear teachers and students! We invite you to an open lecture "Ecological footprint", which will be held on April 26, 2023 at 15.00 in the assembly hall of the Faculty of Medicine and Healthcare (address: Tole bi, 96). The purpose of the event: to raise awareness of the lecture participants about the importance of everyone's role in the "ecological footprint of medicine", to discuss ways to reduce the pressure of the ecological footprint at the individual and collective levels, as well as to disseminate practical tips on environmentally responsible behavior.
The lecturers of the event will be members of the environmental movement @recycle.birge, which has existed in Almaty since 2018 as part of the activities of the Public Foundation "Greenup.kz ".

The 1st Student Talk Forum "Hacking Sleep"

On Tuesday, March 14, the 1st Student Talk Forum "Hacking Sleep" will be held at the Faculty of Medicine and Healthcare at the Department of Fundamental Medicine from 14.00 to 16.00 in the assembly hall on the 2nd floor (room 216) within the framework of the SDGs "Good Health and Well-being". The program of the event includes interesting mini-lectures, a short master class on muscle relaxation and breathing exercises to improve falling asleep, as well as a speech by our student speakers who will share their personal experience, whether it is possible to control their dreams, what sleep problems they experience and how to overcome them. A group discussion of the most interesting moments will take place, and the results of a mini-study in which 1st and 2nd year students took part will be announced. February 28-29 - World Rare Disease Day. The student international conference "Interdisciplinary aspects of rare diseases" was dedicated to the event and the 5th anniversary of the Higher School of Medicine of the Faculty of Medicine and Health of KazNU. Al-Farabi February 24-25, 2023 GM Group 22-07 Spring was among the organizers. The purpose of the conference was to expand knowledge in the field of diagnostics and treatment of rare diseases.

Winners of sport's week "Sportfest 22"
Winners of the sports week "Sportfest 22" dedicated to the Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The festival was organized by an international student organization
"Quasar" of the Graduate School of Medicine, Faculty of Medicine and Health. The main purpose of the event was to promote a healthy lifestyle, attract students to sports, as well as unity and friendship of students from all countries.
At the opening ceremony, Zhanna Amantaevna Kalmataeva, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Healthcare, delivered a welcoming speech and wished good luck to all teams. Moreover, the players and team captains were introduced, the cheerleaders set the mood for the fans who came to support their favorite teams. Guests of the festival from the University named after Asfendiyarov S.D. performed as a dance number. team "Raqsa". Also, the President of Quasar, Qasim Khan, expressed his congratulations to all participants of the sporting event. The hosts announced the 5 main games of the tournament, such as football, badminton, basketball, cricket and PubG, as well as the main rules and prizes for all games. The participants were representatives of 11 countries: Kazakhstan, Pakistan, India, Afghanistan, Syria, Jordan, Iraq, Yemen, Palestine, Kenya, Tanzania, including students of the Higher School of Medicine, Faculty of Medicine and Health. 1. In football, the number of teams was 16, the players were 119 (77 players from the Faculty of Medicine, 7 players from the Faculty of Biology and 35 players from the University named after Asfendiyarov S.D.).
2. In cricket, the number of teams was 10, the players were 90 (72 players from the Faculty of Medicine, 18 players from the University named after Asfendiyarov S.D.).
3. In badminton, the number of teams was 16, players 32 (24 players from the Faculty of Medicine, 8 players from the University named after Asfendiyarov S.D.).
4. In basketball, the number of teams was 6, with 18 players (12 players from the Faculty of Medicine, 6 players from the University named after Asfendiyarov S.D.).
5. According to PubG, the number of teams was 8, the players were 18 (12 players from the Faculty of Medicine, 6 players from the University named after Asfendiyarov S.D.).
The total number of players was 292. Of these, 52 were winners. At the closing ceremony of Sportfest 22 on October 29, the players were honored
